Explore the beautiful, meandering border between Maine and Canada!
This 35-mile, 5-day trip begins in Vanceboro, Maine, just below Spednic Lake and the Vanceboro Dam. Enjoy a combination of moving current, Class 2 whitewater, and flatwater paddling as you explore remote waterways with very little evidence of civilization. After 5 days and 4 nights of fun paddling, peaceful camping, and GREAT food, we will take out near the Kellyland Dam outside of Baileyville, Maine.
This trip is enjoyable for all paddlers, beginner to expert. Our staff will provide instruction and support as needed. Paddling whitewater is optional!
For your convenience, we'll pick you up at your hotel, your home, or a pre-arranged parking area in Portland, Augusta, or Bangor, Maine. We're happy to discuss your specific needs; give us a call!

This public trip has a minimum participation level of 6. Far Out Maine reserves the right to cancel and refund any trip that does not meet a minimum participation level.
Maximum trip participation is 12 people.
We use a sliding-scale philosophy for our private bookings (shown below).
This allows you to enjoy a small, intimate trip with your family OR to bring a larger group for discounted individual costs!
