Guided Canoe Trips on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway

Paddling the Allagash is a classic, remote, must-do canoeing adventure. Many different itineraries are possible in this hard-to-reach area. Standard trips are 5-7 days long, but there is a lot to explore. An expedition-style trip of 10 days or more could be just what you need!

For trips longer than 5 days, we increase the minimum age to 14.

Standard trips put in at Chamberlain Bridge, Indian Stream, or Churchill Dam. Most trips take out at the Town of Allagash or Michaud Farm.

Allagash Trips are enjoyable for all paddlers, beginner to expert. Our staff will provide instruction and support as needed. Paddling Chase Rapids is optional, but highly recommended!
